Position: Youth Director
Reports to: Pastor
Overview:
Eastside is looking for a dedicated and passionate Youth Director to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of our children, youth, and teen students. The ideal candidate will be committed to reaching and teaching young people in the church and in our community. They will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills. They will be a person that can lead large events and ministries that range from weekly programming to one time evangelistic events.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee Children’s Church
- Assisting volunteers
- Assigning curriculum
- Managing supplies
• Oversee Monthly Events
- Kids 4 Christ
- Teens
• Growing Youth Department
- Through outreach and events increasing the attendance in Kids 4 Christ, Sunday School and Children’s Church
• Start Sunday Night Children’s Program
• Start Children’s Choir
• Help Pastor start 2 new public-school Bible clubs
Qualifications:
• Must agree with and commit to upholding Eastside Baptist Church’s doctrine.
• Mature and ongoing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• College degree preferred but not required.
