Newborn – 3 year olds
Loving, caring Nursery workers are provided to care for your children throughout the Sunday School and Worship Service hours. Parents can have peace of mind as they take part in the services. Also, you are always welcome to keep your child in the service with you.
Kathy Pollock does a fantastic job with her work in the Toddler Nursery.
3 – 5 Year Olds
Observing is one of the strongest learning skills children have at this age. It is important that these children observe the things of God early on in life. Parents talk often about how their children come home singing church songs and telling Bible stories. You will never regret putting your child in Sunday School at this age.
Mrs. Tanya & Mrs. Becky have a genuine love for this age group. They are the kind of teachers your children will want to sit next to in class!
6 – 9 YEAR OLDS
The children are well acquainted with a structured lesson and rewards of good behavior. Here at Eastside, we incorporate prizes, games, Bible truth-filled songs, and memory verses into every lesson. Mrs. Anne & Mrs. Barbara are excellent teachers for this age group.
10 – 12 YEARS OLD
Children at this age are developing the foundations of their lives. That is why we incorporate truth and Godly principles taught in a fun and creative way. Mrs. Anita and Mrs. Deborah do an incredible job teaching this age group.
Additional Classes For Kids
Children’s Church (Ages 4-10)
During the morning service hour, children come into Children’s church for the whole experience: new songs, sweet treats, and epic Bible stories! You will be amazed to see how much your child will learn in children’s church! Children’s church is for children ages 4-10. If your child is under the age of 4 they are welcome to attend and we ask that a parent stay with them. Parents can come pick up their children in the main lobby after the morning worship service is over. A team of teachers and assistants will keep your child’s attention so you can give your attention to the main service.
Kids 4 Christ (Ages 4 – 12
Every 3rd Friday of the month we have Kids 4 Christ with Pastor Chris from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Kids 4 Christ is a free kids event for Eastside and the Mebane community. It is an exciting time of fun songs, silly skits and impactful Bible lesson. Includes a full meal prepared by the ladies of Eastside followed by crafts and activities in the Eastside Gym. This is a great time for the children to get to know Pastor Chris and Mrs. Crystal. Check Eastside’s facebook for more details on upcoming children’s events.
Teens 12 to 16 and Young Adults 16 to 29
Eastside Baptist is committed to giving young adults, from all walks of life, the opportunity to be a success in the eyes of the Lord while having a good time with activities along the way. Young Adults are making decisions that will impact generations to come! They meet:
- Sunday Morning at 10:00 AM for a relevant and biblical lesson.
- Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 PM for time of Q&A on relevant subjects
- Monthly with activities from cookouts to laser tag and much more.
Pastor Chris, Bro. Keeter and Bro. Henson are committed to providing Biblical teaching and resources to help young adults continue to follow God in the days ahead.
Ladies Bible Class
The ladies Bible class is a group of ladies that gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM to study the Bible together. Going through practical and relevant Bible lessons covering subjects ladies today are dealing with.
Mrs. Crystal, Mrs. Bonnie & Mrs. Paula do a fantastic job teaching and building a community that ladies can grow closer to the Lord.
Adult Bible Class
The main sanctuary has a class every Sunday morning. This world needs Christians who know God and know His Word. In the Adult Bible class you will receive instruction and inspiration from the Word of God that will help you influence those behind you.
Bro. Kevin, Bro. Donnie, Bro Coleman and Bro. Randy have a rotating teaching schedule and do a wonderful job of taking Biblical lessons and making them practical for every day living.
